Hi, I'm Tasha and I'm going to be running the 2018 London Marathon for Leukaemia CARE.
Blood cancer is a cause close to my heart, my grandad passed away when I was very young from leukaemia. I try to do my bit of blood cancer patients (currently a blood donor and on the blood marrow register!) but I thought I could do even more by raising much needed funds for those that look out for the needs of blood cancer patients.
I thought this is the best way to do it! It has been my dream to run the marathon and I finally took the plunge. It is not going to be an easy journey but it will be worth it and especially as money donated will go directly to helping blood cancer patients and their carers!
Leukaemia CARE is a national blood cancer support charity, committed to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support.
They provide a range of support services to patients and their carers including: a 24-hour CARE Line, nationwide support groups, patient and carer conferences, an informative website, cancer campaigning and advocacy and accredited cancer information and literature.
If you are able to sponsor me, I'd really appreciate it!
Thank you so much for the support :)
